Jeff & Lindsay Ward

Owner/Operators

Hailing from Torrington, Wyoming and Gothenburg, Nebraska, Jeff and Lindsay decided to move to Laramie, Wyoming in the early 2000's and founded Ward Livestock. While the initial focus was on the Angus breed, the need for PAP-tested, age-advanced bulls in the Rocky Mountain region was high. Thus, the annual Red, White, & Blue Bull Sale was initiated after several years of selecting both horned and polled Hereford cows that mimicked the kind of cattle that work nationally.

Saige Ward

Owner

Saige Ward is the daughter of Jeff and Lindsay and has been very involved in the progression and operation of Ward Livestock. Throughout high school Saige showed cattle, sheep, and goats, and when not in the barn could be found competing in a variety of CDEs, and leading her peers in a variety of organizations. After completing high school, Saige went on to attend Butler Community College where she was a part of the livestock judging team. After receiving an associate's degree in Animal Science, she transferred to Texas A&M where she is an active part of the livestock judging team.

Our Location

Laramie, Wyoming

Situated at the base of the mountain, Ward Livestock sits at around 7,200 feet of elevation, about 25 miles west of Laramie, Wyoming. Because of our environment, we understand what harsh winters, dry summers, and elevated altitude can do to a cow herd. This knowledge has equipped our team with the passion and drive to cater to the commercial cattlemen by supplying rugged, range ready bulls prepared and genomically ready to cover cows for the long haul.
